Touching Down in Mexico City

Landing in Mexico City We landed at 4 am in Mexico City, earlier than we were scheduled to do so. Our flight with Aeromexico had been very smooth and we even managed to sleep a fair amount on the plane. The queue for immigration was long but we finally made it through and got our luggage about 5.15am. Google Maps informed us of a quick and easy route to get to our hostel. Goodbye Bristol After spending nearly three whole months in Bristol, Mitch and I are off again. I love Bristol, I always will. However, we have the opportunity to work and travel. Travelling is one of my passions and being able to do that while I earn a living is pretty damn awesome. Where is Vang Vieng? Apart from its location, I literally knew nothing about Laos before going there. After deciding it was on our itinerary while in South East Asia, I started reading up on the country. A place which soon appeared on my radar was Vang Vieng. Located near the capital of Vientiane, over the years, Vang Vieng has earnt a reputation for being an alcohol-drinking, drug-taking, Friends-watching, river-tubing town for foreign tourists. Visiting Texas: Not What I Expected

Our route across the USA involved heading down the West Coast and then along the South to make our way to Miami. Texas seemed like a good route to take and we ended up staying there for quite a while, mainly because the state is so friggin’ big, but also because there’s lots to see.
